Projeggtionis an experimental video-mapping film that explores the idea of breaking societal conforms.
It talks about how one desires to breakfree of societal containment in different aspects of life.

Idea
The concept for Projeggtion was based on creating an animated film projected onto an object. Inspired by the egg as an object of interest, the narrative was developed by exploring the many meanings an egg can represent.
In the human context, an egg symbolizes a tightly bound enclosure of insecurities and fears shaped by society’s unreasonable standards. The short film becomes an abstract exploration of this idea.
The message is simple,
Speak up, let the cracks emerge. Break free and celebrate all colours that make you, you.
Experiments
Before making the final installation, we did some experiments with transcluscent materials to get the desired multiple reflections.
StructureFor the base structure, we selected latex as
our material of choice because its ability to produce multiple reflections aligned perfectly with our desired outcome.
SetupThe final setup was done using a rubber balloon, which made multiple reflections, and one projector to get the desired result.
