My primary focus was translating a highly technical Web3 platform into a universally approachable narrative. By relying on clear, abstract storytelling, I distilled complicated crypto mechanics into clean, digestible visual metaphors.
Rather than relying on disconnected tech tropes, we built a cohesive design system where this core element continuously evolves. By transforming the star into visuals of toggle buttons to dynamic storytelling metaphors like an airplane taking off: the animation maintains a playful, interconnected flow.
This intentional abstraction strips away the intimidation of crypto, positioning the platform as an inviting, mainstream workspace

While staying true to the established Near DevHub color scheme, our goal was to significantly modernize its application. By pairing their existing palette with clean, stylized geometry and crisp layouts, we elevated the aesthetic to feel like a contemporary, mainstream tech product.

A look at the finalized frames, where the modernized brand palette and the transforming star motif come together to create a frictionless, approachable world.
To ground the abstract animation in reality, we integrated the actual platform interface. Designed by my colleague Eesha Chavan, these UI sections serve as the functional anchor, ensuring the product itself looks just as friendly, clean, and inviting as the motion system surrounding it.

To achieve precise, system-driven motion across the abstract sequences, I built custom procedural setups using Blender and Cavalry’s image sampler. Following are some of the results of these motion systems.
