This book is made using different kinds of waste material as a medium of Illustration. Here I’ve used textile, Aluminium Sheet, Cardboard, Newspaper, and more. This is my attempt on reflecting the indigenous nature of this poem using upcycled material as a form of art.
: It all started with the pitter-patter with a few drops of rain.
: Then stormed in with might, a downpour on the windowpane.
: The mason, at dusk, veiled the construction site with a filthy rag.
: Then shielded the tank a broken cot his makeshift flag.
: In the open air, clothes sun-dried & unbound,
: Manglu struggled as they fluttered & scattered around.
: Aunty with care, shut doors and windows so tight,
: Under the bed, she sought refuge from thunderous lightening’s might.
